A popular route for riders in Central NC.

The beginning of the route along Hwy42 features scenic forest driving around Harris Lake with sweeping curves.

Old Liberty Rd from Asheboro to Liberty NC is a true NC Country Rd and has a speed limit between 35Mph and 45Mph. With lots of curves, one lane bridges and heavy tree cover, it demands respect while being one enjoyable ride.
